Bath

Hello all!
My six and a half month old is now too small for his baby bath. I put him in the ‘big bath’ last night and he had so much fun being able to kick as much as he wanted and splash his arms about freely. Anyway, I’m wondering what people use in the bath to stop him slipping? He’s a slippery fish! I’ve seen a mothercare bath mat with seat attached but read mixed reviews.
Any help will be appreciated thank you!

He’s too big for his bath, not too small! God I’m daft! 😂

Can your little one sit up on his own? I’m the same with my nearly 7 month old and I’m going to get the angelcare seat, I used the angel
Care support when he was littler but I have seen good things about the angel care seat too! Worth a look xxx

He can’t quite sit up by himself, I have to suooort him, he’s very close though! I’ll have a look at that, thank you!

My (just) 7 month DD uses this and loves being able to sit, play and splash!

It was £20 from Mothercare. Smile

That’s the mothercare one I’ve read mixed reviews on! How are you finding it? People moaning about how difficult it is to clean and that it goes mouldy?

I don't use the mat (as my bath is too small) but the seat on its own is brilliant!

We had one of these:

We (DH and I) just supported DD for a bit and soon she was sitting. She's 9 months now and wouldn't stay in a seat or sit on a mat.

We used the angelcare bucket type seat one after the the angelcare support seat got too small. Worked a treat, didn't take up much room, didn't get mouldy, and was a lifeline because I had a late sitter

Thank you all for your help! Have you found the angelcare seat leaves red marks on your babies?
