Hi my son is 5 weeks and I'm doing only breastfeeding. I was thinking how many ml of milk is enough to give him from bottle. Sometimes i want to express with breast pump and give to him or give to my husband to feed him if i need to go outside but don't know how ml is enough for 5 weeks baby. How ml milk you are giving to your babies? I'm usually doing breastfeeding in every 3 hours, depends sometimes every 2,5-3,5h during the day and every 3-4 hours during the night. He is doing fine and gaining good weight.

Recommendation is 1-1.5 oz per hour you're not feeding - so if you usually feed 3 hourly then give a bottle of 3-4.5 ounces. Make sure you use the slowest paced teat and look up paced feeding to try and mimic breastfeeding as closely as possible.
