Help with 6mo!

So I have always been very lucky that my DD has been happy, cheerful, easy to feed etc from about 2 months old. Well, she has turned 6 months and it seems as all hell has broke loose! She's grumpy, not sleeping (did sleep through apart from maybe popping dummy back in once or twice).

She wakes up crying, and I mean SCREAMING. As soon as the dummy goes back in she's fine. She doesn't seem hungry. On an average night I'm in with her 8-10 times and recently I've just given up and put her in bed with me.

During the day she isn't much better. She just cries and shouts and is only happy if she's truly distracted by something amazing!

DH thinks this is her teeth but she's showing no other signs of it.

I guess what I'm trying to ask the wonderful world of MN, is wtf to I do to fix her?!

Babies go through a sleep regression around 4 months. You’re lucky you’ve been allowed to sleep this long! The answer is just to ride it out unfortunately.

Have you stated weaning? I ask this, as I've noticed a change in my 7 months DD's sleep since she's reduced feeds from 5 to 3 a day. Baby's don't seem brilliant at change! Lol!

Like your DH said, it could be teething. Even if you can't feel or see them, they could be coming through. Is she chewing her hands or dribbling a lot?

Failing those, it may just be a sleep regression I'm afraid.

Wahhhh I did think that could be the case!

I think my main concern was if there was something wrong with her. We have had to change her formula over and I wasn't sure if it could be a factor but it doesn't seem to have made her ill.

To be honest if it's the regression that all babies go through then I'm happy enough with that!

@myotherbagisgucci yep started weaning. Taking to it well but she has also dropped a bottle.

The conclusion I've come to (unless anybody else has any ideas) is that it could be;

Teething
Regression
Weaning
Changing formula
Dropping a bottle

She does also chew her hands (and basically anything else) but has done this from about 2-3months!
