Hi all,

Right now I am trying to break into the world of maternity nanny....

I have quals, 5+yrs childcare experience with NB's but more so in a nursery setting. I am trying to get MNanny gigs at the moment but finding it hard to get the actual breaks. Being flexibe and offering much cheaper rates than full flegded MN's at 350 for 24/7 bookings or happy to do odd days here and there. Happy to muck in, help around the house etc.

Any other advice from parents of ideally MN'S???

Have you tried getting work through an agency that specialise in Maternity Nannies?

I would say the best way to go is with an agency that do MN, gain some actual MN experience with them and then branch out on your own.
