My nephew is 1 next week, niece wants to get him onto cows milk gradually. How do you do it nowadays :) I used to do 9oz bottle - 8oz formula top up 1oz cows milk. Day 2 7oz formula top up 2oz cows milk etc....

Is this right???

I just switched. They'd been having yogurts. So I knew they had no problems with lactose.

You could do it either way. I tried to just switch and my DS wasn’t happy so I did what you suggested above over a week ish.

We did a couple at 50:50 but then just went to full cows milk

That sounds like a lot of hassle. We just changed one feed at a time straight to cows milk. My daughter didn't even seem to notice.

Same we just switched over. She had been having cows milk in cereal etc so i knew she was ok with it. Didn't seem to notice at all.

I tried just switching but DS refused the bottle so had to do it gradually as you suggest, only took a week or so.

I did 25:75, then 50:50, then 75:25 formula to milk, then 100% cow's milk. DD didn't notice. I also switched her from bottle to sippy cup.
