Aaaarrggghhhh - all advice greatfully received since I am currently failing miserably to get dd2 to go to bed nicely.
She's 3.5 - lovely & funny & sweet during the day & the devil child at night.
It was going so well - I'd weaned her off me sitting with her, she'd done weeks of going to sleep alone and now for the past month she's worse than ever. Climbing, emptying her bookshelves, running around.
Every time I pick her up to put her back in to bed she says ouch mummy your hurting me.
I'm work full-time & am a single parent and I can't be up with her until 9 or later every night. We have to be up at 7 on weekdays and I have to wake her most mornings. At weekend she will sleep until 7:30-8 naturally.
She's meant to be getting bunk beds with dd1 & sharing from mid-aug but now that her behaviour has got so much worse I can't see how to do it.
I can't even leave her and go downstairs because she climbs onto window sills.
I just want to cry I'm so exhausted by it all.
