Hi everyone. In my neighbourhood, I know a family who have two teenage children - 14 and 17, who do not have keys to get into their house. They have to wait until a parent gets home before they're able to get in. Is there anyone here who hasn't given their kids keys? If you've not, why not? What's everyone's thoughts?

My friends kids don't have them as they repeatedly lost them and every time had to change the locks.

I think I was 11 when I had the keys to my house Shock (I was in secondary school) maybe my mum thought I would be responsible with them. I don't recall losing them. I do recall coming home after school and watching tv and having a snack till mum got home from work
