I want to read DS a bedtime story. He's very fidgety & active even before bed. He has only just turned 2 - could you recommend any good books?

Our DD loved You Choose and DS loved Thomas books. My best advice though is to take him to your local library and let him choose 2 or 3 he likes the look of Smile

Go with shorter books or interactive ones.

There's a monster in my book.

You choose/just imagine.

Anything by sue hendra - particularly supertato or Dave's breakfast blast off.

Each peach pear plum.

Don't let the pigeon drive the bus.

Peppa pig ones are short.

The dinosaur who pooped series.

Leave Julia Donaldson and other longer classics till he's older. Or get some audio cds for car rides or to put on while eating or playing. The book people do the whole Julia Donaldson set for about £12.

Mine loved most of those too mocuts (some of them hadn’t been written). Don’t let the pigeon drive the bus is a great one Smile

Pip.and Posy books are lovely. Short and sweet with lots to.see in the pictures and daily life type story lines.

Thanks everyone! I grabbed the nearest book to me (That's not my kitten) but it didn't feel like a story. He keeps grabbing the book though. I want to have a nice bedtime read & it's more of a wrestle Grin

My 2 year old DD loves the funny bones books, books that are from movies i.e beauty and the beast. She loves tabby mctat and anything by Julia Donaldson and the tiger who came to tea.
