Ear infection or teething

My 12 month old had tonsillitis and an ear infection a few weeks back. He was given a 10 day course of antibiotics which he completed last weekend.

The last 3 or so nights he's been waking 2-3 times and seems to be whingey (this could be tiredness). Anyway, today and yesterday I noticed him tugging on his ear and holding the back of his head.

Could this still be that ear infection? Or is it more likely teething related?

Get the GP to check them out. It is the only way to know
