OMG can't believe that Jenny will be having her first birthday in a couple of weeks. I'm so excited, where has the last year gone?

I still have to pinch myself occasionally, Jenny's just so good and easy going. She's started trying to walk now, albeit holding onto the furniture, still eating everything in sight. I could just cry when I see how much she loves her big brother, she loves her big sister too, but ds gets down to her level more to play. An example of this was last week when we went camping, dd1 and ds were sleeping on one airbed, dh, Jenny and I were on the other. Each morning Jenny would climb over dh to get to ds just to fling her arms around his neck for a big hug.

I could go on and on, but I'll leave it there for now.

How are the rest of the September 2003 babes?

I know it goes so fast, too fast..
Alex is the same as he ever was. Happy, talkative, social, encourgable (he has inherited a naughty glint in his eye from his brother).
The interaction between them is the most wonderful thing to watch. I love just seeing them play and hug and even squabble.
He still doesn't eat much and he is happy to bf for most of the day but thats o.k because I love those calm, quiet moments with him.
He took his first steps a week ago but is now a bit more cautious.
He can sign a few things and say one or two words.
All in all he's a great baby and a lovely brother, I couldn't have ordered a better addition to our family.
We are planning on a number 3 so obviously this has been a great experience for all of us.
Now the tricky part really begins ... birthday parties for a 1 year old. What are you all doing to celebrate the day?
