Double buggy recommendations

Ds will be 18 months when dc2 arrives. I've been doing my nut trying to find a suitable double buggy.

Preferably one with a carry cot for baby. I'm not a fan of the Phil and Ted or any buggies with a low seat as we live around a lot of traffic and I feel it's too close to the fumes.

Will also need to fold as one as we live up a set of stairs. So will need it to he as easy as possible to carry and put up/down.

I've been looking at the Baby Jogger City Mini if anyone has experience?

The double Baby jogger city mini folds very easily but is quite wide. It’s a great buggy though.
I candy double is nice and narrow but lots of attachments so may be a pain getting up and down stairs.
My fave is outnabout double. Can fit a carry cot. It’s so easy to push. Not sure if it’s heavier than the city mini double but is definitely more narrow.
I’d go and have a look. See what suits your toddler how they fit in the seats etc.

Thanks for replying, I'll look into the Outnabout, it sounds like it's on the right track.

We only have a mothercare I can get to here but will definitely go and see if I can try a few out. I'll be looking to buy second hand I think, most seem to wear well and have replacement parts if needed.

We have the same age gap. We got thw City Mini and it's great. Fits through a standard doorway, easy to fold and steer, quite light for a double and well built. It reclines fully so is suitable for a newborn without a cumbersome carrycot. Smile

Im going to have 13 months between mine and im going for the maxi cosy dana for 2. Its side by side which i like, and you can swap one seat unit out for a maxi cosy car seat for the new born. I ended up never using the carrycot with my 2nd born anyway.

Out n about is fab

Can be a bit heavy picking it up but it's so lightweight to push

I loved my double so much I went and got a single when a double was no longer needed
