How to help baby roll over?

Poor thing has figured out how to move his bum and his right shoulder correctly, but his left arm is getting trapped against the floor and preventing him from rolling. And then he cries... Any ideas on how I can encourage him to move the arm forwards and out of the way?

Now that he’s worked out a roll can happen (I was assisting previously) he’s not so keen to wait and figure it out fully, and just gets stressed!

I don’t think so, he would just forget every time anyway. It is a natural development and will come in his own time.

Aww that’s not the answer I wanted! 😂

Although I suspect you’re right... we’ve been doing a lot more tummy time this week (hadn’t done anywhere near enough previously, my fault) and he’s come on in leaps and bounds, so I’d love him to finally nail it! (And be less frustrated...)
