Hi all,
I have a Silver Cross Wayfarer Chelsea.
My little boy is 9 weeks and rapidly growing.... Nearly too big for the carry cot piece!!

When did you start using the pushchair seat rather than carrycot?

The manual says not to use the seat under 6months but he'll be well and truly grown out by then!!

Thanks!! :-D

I have the pioneer which uses the same carrycot/seat units. I put my son in the seat from about 3 months as he'd outgrown the carrycot and was getting fed up of not being able to look around.

He was very strong by that point but I kept him reclined rather than sat up until he was a lot older; I actually felt it was too upright so he was about 7 months before he was in it fully up!

We switched when DS could no longrr fit at all so around five months.

Thanks! Maybe I'll wait til 3 months when he'll be a bit stronger...he is holding his head really well at the moment and seems rather strong, but better safe than sorry I guess. He looks so tiny in the seat! Haha! But seemed quite happy being wheeled around the kitchen being able to look around unlike the carrycot where he can't be nosey!
