Weaning....HELP!!!!

My almost 7.5 month old has been weaning for almost 2 months and has been doing quite well. The last few days though she doesn't seem interested. I'm doing a mix of traditional and BLW, she's taking a couple of small spoonfuls then refusing and becoming a bit hysterical if I go near her with the spoon. She will usually still take yoghurt ok and will take finger foods - fruit, puffs etc. Has anyone had experience of this and have any tips? Is it just a phase? TIA

If she's refusing being spoon-fed just up the finger foods for a while. It will just be a phase.

Try things on toast for finger food - smashed avocado, hummus, peanut butter, cream cheese.

Other useful finger foods are pasta (those bought pasta salads are good, if you don't fancy making yourself), omelette cut into triangles, firm scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs.

Also - keep her milk and fluid intake up. Especially important in this heat.

I think they go through phases. My DS always ate less when he was teething. I just have him some extra milk to make up for it. Hopefully she’ll be back to normal in a few days
