My toddler DS loves to watch Kids YouTube on the iPad. He absolutely loves it, he likes to swipe between the videos and choose the ones he wants. I'd like to restrict what he can see and who it is provided by. Does anyone have any recommendations? Are there official channels that provide good/safe content?
I find the kids YouTube app utterly rubbish but it may be the way I have it set up. It doesn't seem to suggest appropriate things at all and leads down all sorts of rabbit holes. I set him up watching diggers playing in magic sand and saying the colours of the eggs they find and when I come back two minutes later he's swiped onto some older children hitting each other with bats and shouting in Russian, or an American video testing crisps and talking about Jesus. Can you help me use it more safely?
I am a bit of a technophobe btw and had never even looked on YouTube once until a few months ago...
