Generally I can put up with my annoying MIL, repeating stories 100 times (even after i tell her I remember her telling me the story the first time). Incredibly opinionated, rudely so most the time, especially if I'm worried about something to do with my baby and I just get she's fine / we didn't get that in our day.
And the best of all she can turn any conversation, no matter how remote, to being about her, she'll take over while discussions with a group of people.
But if she's ever round and other people say (about my little girl) oh isn't she cute/beautiful. Then she will respond (even though she doesn't need to speak up because they weren't talking to her) "yes but then we are biased" I just feel like screaming at her every time, because all it comes across to me is she's not really beautiful but we only think she is because she's family, when those friends who she says it in front of speak to me at a later time they always comment on the rudeness of my MIL so I know it's not just me being sensitive.
It's like MIL are there to test us!!
