Hot hot hot!!! How to keep baby cool?!

So it’s obviously hot tonight! My room is 28 degrees, I have a 4week old and have him in his nappy in the crib. Is this ok? I’m a first time mum and really worried about my little man over heating! I’ve got a fan on in the room (not blowing at him) is there anything else I can do to keep him cool and get a good night sleep without feeling that I need to check him every hour!?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

As long as he is having his feeds to keep him hydrated he should be fine. Sounds like your doing a great job. All first time mums worry, if anything it juat shows you care very much for him

Same here! Ever since he was born it’s ranged from 25-31 in this room. He’s 6 weeks now and I’ve mostly just put him in a nappy with a thin sheet over him. I’ve purchased the best fan I could find for this room and it doesn’t seem to cool it much either!
This is my third child but my first summer baby and it’s a whole different ball game. It’s easy to warm a baby up but it’s so hard to cool them down! It’s so much harder.

Nightmare.

Franticallypeaceful it certainly is! Fingers crossed we can all sleep well and these hot nights don’t last too long!
