Gift from baby to sibling...help please

I'm due DD2 in a couple of weeks & I wanted to get a gift from the baby to DD1.

I'm really stuck on what to get. I've been thinking for weeks & I just can't think what to get. It doesn't help the fact DD1's birthday is next week! Before anyone suggests DD1 has lots of dolls/babies so that's out of the question. Does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks!

How old is dd1?

Depends on their age. I got my dd little things she could do while I was feeding baby so jigsaws, colouring books, stories and craft things.

Sorry I should of said she's 3 next week.

We did a box full of hard plastic animals for elder one to play with. No little bits for when yoinger one gets mobile!

I got my DS a ‘superstar guitar’ from elc from his baby sister. I don’t know know what I was thinking. It wasn’t my finest decision I have to say.

Dd was burn shirtky after ds’s third birthday. For his birthday we’d given him one of those talking Buzz Lightyear toys, so dd gave him the talking Woody that talks to Buzz. She was very clever for a brand new baby .
it used to freak me out if he left th on and they spoke to each other in the toy box in the middle of the night

My dd1 likes dolls so am planning to get her a dolls 'baby care kit' from Argos when dc2 arrives in a couple of weeks. Has a high chair etc, you can get smaller ones with food, baths etc. Good luck with it all!

I posted on a similar thread a while ago, hubby got a big stuffed animal for dsd 6 and the exact same mini one for ds 8weeks, sibling teddies they can grow up with together x

When my d's was born ds was 3 just the week before. DD got him a playmobil set which now 3 years later they play together along with the multiple other playmobil which has come since.
