Does anything help with reflux?

I think my DD aged 7 weeks has reflux ass she has started bringing up large quantities of milk at every feed. She then wants to feed more and it gets to the point she is either screaming for milk, breastfeeding or being sick.

I try to keep her upright after feeds but sometimes she even vomits when upright. Even after being upright she is still vomiting when put down in crib or for a nappy change.

I will make a GP appointment but worry there won't be much they can do to help Sad. She hasn't slept all night.

The only thing which we found worked was carobel milk thickener but DS is bottle fed so not sure how this would work for breastfeeding. Gaviscon worked like a dream for a day but we then had to stop as the constipation was ten times worse than the reflux. DS only had mild reflux and is improving now that he is more mobile. I know my GP was very reluctant to even give Gaviscon it seems very hit and miss with the GP and their personal beliefs etc. A lot of the time we were told it was just colic but DS also had this so I knew the difference! Hope it starts to improve for you both xx
