Hi everyone-I am 36/40 preg with bubba no2 and have had a csection booked since 34 wks as no2 is breech-like my dd was. (She was planned csection as feet first!! now 2.5 yrs )I have been to the clinic today and found out babe has moved headdown!! I am now feeling a bit distraught as I dont no whether Im coming or going!! Do I try a VBAC or just go ahead with the csection planned for 15th June-We have been so excited about knowing the dates and I have been getting ready mentally and physically-I dont want to wait any longer then the 15th!! Im getting impatient and want my baby here safe at last! But now babe has turned maybe I should try? I am scared I will need an emergency section anyway if at all goes wrong or if I dont labour well. I have read about VBAC and it sounds as though I need to weigh the pros and cons of both. Can anyone give me some of their views and experiences please? I really need to make a plan for my own sanity! Thanks in advance! (hmm)

Got my VBAC baby nestled on me in a sling as a type... so unfortunately will have to be brief. I say go for the VBAC! You're right though, you need to do your research - it was only through doing lots of research and feeling thoroughly reassured that I had a great chance of achieving a VB this time round that I felt confident enough to go for it. I even went for a homebirth in the end!

There's a great VBAC yahoo group that you should sign up to, as they will be able to advise/support you - they'll quickly give you all the info you need to make your decision. Am crap at links and in a hurry, so just type yahoo VBACHBAC into google and it should come up.

Good luck!
