Hey, I'm 6 days post birth and am formula feeding (my choice, so no hate please) my milk has now come in, and boobs are really sore and swollen, any one got any suggestions as to what can help the pain and the swelling? Thanks

I’d ask the MW. The obvious one would be to express a little, just for comfort but that might not be the right advice.

I just wore breast pads and a tight bra which I didn't take off for about a week. The pain and swelling both passed.

Put cabbage leaves in the fridge then into a really tight bra ☺️ try not to touch them too much! It should only last 2-3days x

As a breastfeeder there are things I know to avoid because it can reduce your milk but I don't know how effective they are. One is taking decongestants and the other is drinking Epsom salts. Obviously don't trust this crazy internet lady, discuss with your health care precessional!
