So we are off on holiday soon with DS. For the way out and while we are there i am going to do a boots order to the airport. The only thing im not sure about is the way back. How do i bring his milk onto the plane? Happy to do ready made stuff but i want to take enough through in case of a heavy delay too and i know its a tiny airport so no milk buying on the way back

I flew lots of times when DS was formula feeding. You're allowed to take baby milk and food on the plane, no problem. Ready to feed bottles are fine. We also took jars of baby food and pouches of puree when he was a bit bigger - it's no problem as long as they're still sealed. You can take as much as you need.

Save some of your ready to feed from the trip out for the trip home. You can take it through security.

How do you normally make up formula on the go? For example I had a flask of boiling water. I just filled up my flask at a cafe and brought the powder and bottles with me.

Also might be obvious but don’t rely on boots at the airport having your order. Have some spare for the journey just in case there’s a problem

Ah fantastic, i want to take enougg in case we are delayed. Is that allowed?

At the moment we've just taken one made up ready with powder and one ready made but weve not been out for more than 5 hours so far due to having a dog. I hadn't considered boots failing to have our order!!!

You can take as much as you want. Any liquids relating to the baby are fine. They put them in a special scanner.

Fantastic thank you. Had visions of flying back from italy with the hungriest baby ever
