Hello all, I’m havjng trouble at night times with my 6 week old son I’m a first time mum. He has Infacol which has been working fantastic, he’s started taking longer feeds and going longer in between during the day (sleeping less in the day due to being much more alert) and in the day he feeds well and bring up wind easily, as easily as being sat upright. Then night time hits he will wake up for his first feed nothing will be any different to day time but he for some reason manages to gulp a load of air down (breast fed exclusively) so he hardly takes any milk becoming full of air so quickly, it doesn’t make him scream but I can’t put him down when he’s done that I can hear all the wind gurgling inside of him I try every winding method in the book nothing brings it up. He just falls asleep whilst I’m trying to get it up, but if I put him in his Moses basket he instantly wakes up and starts crying. He doesn’t normally do this it’s just been the past three nights any advice? Have tried gripe water but I honestly don’t like using it unless he’s screaming with trapped wind because it makes him gag he hates it.
