21 month soaking through nappy overnight

Hi

My DS has always been very wet overnight and from a baby has been in a size up nappy overnight.

He is in 5+ in the day but he is now soaking through pampers baby dry 6+ at night. I have added in a maternity sanatary towel and this is holding most nights. I’m worried that he will grow out of these soon and they don’t make 7+!

He does still have 5oz milk at bed time, I don’t really want to change this right now as he loves his bedtime milk.

Any advice is most welcome

I should have also added he has given no signs of being ready to be toilet trained at 21 months old yet

I had this issue with my ds at about the same age. Prob because he was a front sleeper. I tried different makes, up a size, down a size, inserts, pull up over the top.....
In the end the only thing that worked was to change him as I went to bed. Admittedly, the first couple of nights he did wake, and had to be resettled, but then, it's as though he got used to it and it didn't disturb him at all. Kept the room dark, no chat, then straight out again. It did solve the problem... Best night nappies I found were the Pampers baby dry... (and I tried lots!!!) Hope this helps.... Smile

I had this issue with my 16 month old. The best solution I found was firstly to change his nappy before I went to bed at around 10pm and also to put a pull up over his nappy as they have the wider sides which seems to have done the trick. I use the Aldi nappies and pull ups x
