Advice please! Going away with work - how to tell toddler

I'm going away with work from tomorrow until Friday. I'll leave before 6am and my 2yo DD doesn't get up until later. Would you get her up early to say goodbye or say goodbye before bed?

I would say goodbye before bed. Waking her up to say goodbye will just ruin the day for whoever is looking after her!

Thank you. I think I will say goodbye tonight. Hopefully it won't make bedtime / overnight a nightmare!!
