Do I win the award for crap mum of the day?

Just droped DS1 (8) off at school. Couldn't find his glass, as he thrown them somewhere because I'd praised him for wearing them. So I started to rant at him in the car. By the time we were at the school I was in floods of tears and screaming at him to go in . ( He has been refusing to go into school at all recently) I then demanded he bring out his home work, as I haven't seen any this term. What was I thinking??? So now instead of looking for his glasses, I'm on the internet, sobbing over my keyboard while DD watches Mr Tumble. So do I win crap mum of the day?

Straws and camels really, isn't it. Sounds like you've been having a really stressful time - lots of sympathy. Have a cup of tea and let dd watch as much tv as you need her to.

oh dear, we all have bad mornings sometimes. Buy him a favouite cake for when he comes home and have a little sit and chat - one to one, and have alook at his homework and give him some praise.

No you don't win as I Think there will be other crap mum of the day awards to follow.......

He will have forgot about it by the time you pick him up. Do make 10mins for just the 2 of you this afternoon and you will both feel the better for it.

Lots of tea drinking and watching TV has been going on around here lately .How can one child bee so difficult? The other 2 are perfectly reasonable.
