Teething symptoms in a toddler

Hi all, ds1 is 2.3 and has been very out of sorts today, very clingy, very hot but temp normal, not wanting to eat, only a banana for tea. He's basically just hung off me all day, hardly played at all and screamed when I tried to put him fine for his normal nap.
He's also got a bit of s runny nose and watery eyes.

Any ideas what could be up with him? I thought hay fever but then remembered he still doesn't have ALL his teeth and could he be teething?

Unfortunately those symptoms describe the start of many childhood illnesses. And of course he could be be having a bad day.

I hope he is OK.
