Not a horror story as such, just I have (for the last time!) bought something from somebody in a different country who Doesn't Take Paypal. The Halifax were going to charge me £17.50 to transfer the money (about 17 euros) so I posted cash. Uninsured.
And I don't know if it has arrived. And I'm not sure if they have been receiving my emails as our email is playing up a bit.
So, the moral of the story is: If buying from abroad, make sure the seller accepts paypal!
