Pre-School Fees

I'm looking for some advice regarding pre-school fees that I have received. My two sons have both attended pre-school for the past 18 months through the 30 hours funding and I've not received an invoice for extra payments throughout this period. Yesterday I received an invoice for both children stating that the bill was for 'lunchtime supervision'. I was never made aware by the pre-school that they would begin charging for lunchtime supervision and have not signed anything to state that I was aware of the new charges. Where do I stand with regards payment and should the pre-school have made me aware of this charge before issuing it?

Mmm- I never got charged this with my daughter when she was at preschool.
Do they get fed at preschool and its the charge for the food?

I'd check with the preschool and maybe the council? See what they say before paying for it :)

Nope. The boys have packed lunch and any time they’ve had hot meals I’ve paid on the day. I know that some providers do charge for lunchtime supervision but parents are usually made aware of the charge and given the option of removing children during the lunch hour.
