What happens at 12 month check up

Just wondering what peoples' experiences of the 12 month check up with thief little ones ? what do they actually check and how do they do it ?

I received a 5 page questionnaire booklet to fill out prior to my appointment. Just questions about how ds was developing, was he talking, crawling, walking etc. There are a few activities for you to do with your child in there and you mark them on it. As for the actual appointment itself health visitor went l through booklet not in lots of detail though, weighed him, measured (attempted to, as he wouldn’t lie down 🙈) and asked me if I was ok and any questions I had. Really quite quick maybe was in there 15 minutes.

Just a long list of questions on talking, hand eye co-ordination, crawling whilst ds legged it around the room got told to encourage crawling because it helps with spacial awareness and therefore maths.
