Cot bed bedding

My LO is one in 2 weeks.

He's currently in sleeping bags (or just pjs if its particularly warm).

I wanted to get a cot bed duvet (for cooler nights) but I'm unsure how to make this safe! I'm terrified he'll wriggle under...

Any tips? How can I introduce him to 'proper' bedding instead of sleeping bags?

As far as my experience has shown, in a few months you'll be much more worried about them wriggling out than wriggling in!

Oh gosh, he's definitely a wriggler... already!

my lo is 9 months. wouldn't bother with bedding!! sleeping bags are the way forward as he moves all over the cot in his sleep. for colder months I will just use a higher tog rating and more layers of pjs if needed.

We used sleeping bags til we took the sides off. AFAIK a child will move if they can't breathe. DS certainly did. We got a bed guard as when he fell out, he woke up
Biggest issue now is getting him to stay in bed long enough to fall asleep!

You don't need to worry about bedding until they are much older. DS moved to a bed at 20 months & moved to a duvet & pillow then. Up until then he was in grobags.
