The only thing that helps her poo is giving gripe water in her formula. She is breastfed but has very little which is why I introduced a bottle of formula in the morning.

I’ve also tried cooled boiled water, prunes and oranges but only gripe water does the trick though worried about using it for more than 2 weeks (will be at the end of this week)

any tips on how to get her to poo without the use of the gripe water? Thanks!

I posted something similar to this recently, my DS is 7 months so still fairly new to weaning. He was ebf before (still breastfed now) and recently been struggling with constipation on and off the last couple of weeks.
I’ve always stuck with the rule of P’s (prunes, peaches, pears, peas etc) as apparently these all tend to have the desired effect!
Alongside that I’ve recently found lots of tummy time and being upright (in his walker or jumperoo) also seems to get things moving too.
I think all babies probably struggle around this point as DS goes daily now but it is still pretty solid x
