Vanilla Essence in Baby Formula

Please could somebody help.

My baby has a milk allergy and has been on neocate for a few months. She absolutely hates drinking it and doesn't drink anywhere near enough.

The doctor has told me to get some alcohol free vanilla essence. Has anybody ever used this and if so which brand? All of the ones in the supermarket seem to be full of sugar??

I am reluctant to flavour the formula but my baby refuses to eat a lot and it makes life so hard.

Formula has sugar in it too - the vanilla essence won’t make any difference really. Follow-on brands are vanilla flavoured. I’d just look for alcohol free and ignore the sugar content. Presumably you’ll only be using a tiny bit anyway.

Breast milk is full of sugar too. It taste way sweeter than formula. At least mine did.
