NCT membership discounts

I was thinking of becoming an NCT member, if only because we are registering with a Bright Horizons nursery and registration is free if you are a member.

The registration fee and membership fee are almost the same, and I may well get it just to have early access to the sales. I was just wondering if someone could please tell me what the discounts for the supermarket, boots, Argos, cinema are to convince DH it is worth the trouble 😊

I did NCT classes before having my baby in November and while they were useful and I met some great people, we didn’t bother with the membership.

I’ve asked a friend who did join and other than the magazine and early sale entry, what you actually get are offers on a member portal - so it’s not like ‘get 5% off at boots’ it’s a case of ‘this week get 5% off a particular breast pump sold at boots’.

Shes never used the discounts for anything but I don’t think she avidly checks the portal these days.

The discounts are a new thing. Loads of discounts on day out and holidays but I depends on whether you would be going on these things anyway. Deal on cashback cards where you apply using NCT code and load cards with funds and get cashback on purchases e.g 6% Topshop, Debenhams, 4% Sainsbury's, 3% Tesco and other random money off things every month.
