Sorry, baby posted for me!

I was saying...we never used one with our first as we bedshared most of the time until she was 3. Ds is 3.5 months now and we’ve moved him to his own room about 2 weeks ago. It’s earlier than I would have preferred but we had house guests for the week and had to do some shuffling around of sleeping arrangements (dh coming back from the spare room where he’d been to not wake us). He slept through most nights before that anyway, despite being ebf on demand, but now sleeps even better because we aren’t banging around in the room waking him up. As it’s working, I figure I’ll just leave it how it is and not bring him back to co-sleep unless/until he needs it. But it’s weird to not know what he’s doing during the night. My dd was in bed with me for years and I could always check on her. So I thought maybe a video monitor would help. I don’t need the absolute cheapest but don’t want to spend 200 quid either. Something that will be durable and lasts for years and can be made secure from a privacy standpoint.

We got a Motorola one, got it in a Morrison's baby event. It was about £40. It's not a WiFi one, just simple video. It's been great to be fair

I've tried and returned 2 other monitors from Amazon before settling on the Hello baby one. Baby isn't here yet but I have DC1 so knew what I was looking for. Ticks all my boxes!

We have the Hello Baby one too. Works a treat. Good size screen and easy to operate.
