9 Month old refusing milk

Hi, my 9 month old is refusing most of all his milk. He has one in the morning with his breakfast - half is used for is porridge or cereal and he drinks the rest. I'll offer one to him mid-afternoon, but the most he drinks is about half and I'll offer him one at night and now he will only drink a small amount of that.

I give him water throughout the day and he drinks that no problem and I do give him dairy in his lunch and dinner (I think he thinks cheese makes everything tastes better and sometimes so do I). His meals consist of a small amount of meat or fish and plenty of veg, occasionally followed by some fruit if he's in the mood.

He seems fine on what he's having so I may be worrying about it unnecessarily, but I'll be grateful for any advice.

There’s been a similar thread to this today over on Infant Feeding.

My 6 month old is the same and I spoke to a doctor about it who said so long as your baby is growing and happy and healthy, you are offering milk and they have dairy, meat, vitamins etc (which it sounds like you are giving) then don’t worry. I think you like me, are getting caught up on the 600ml a day and worrying about it. But they will only take what they will take. Mine prefers food and will grab the spoon, but push away on the breast. So he knows what he wants
