plugs and switches

my 19 month old son keeps turning the plug switches on and off and i am getting worried that he will get an electric shook is there anything that i can do to stop him doing this

Mine did this too. I just had the plug in covers that stopped them shoving things down the holes.

Mine did this - the novelty wears off. I have no plug covers on I know. He had got bored of it now. Whenever they were on (i.e. he could see the red bit) he was rather perturbed 'uh oh' and off they would ahve to be. He has never tried to put anything in them so I just let him get on with it...

My 17 month old goes into a frenzy of sheer excitement when he spies wires/plugs/sockets. DH screwed a bunch of sockets onto his storage unit so he can switch them on and off as much as he likes and do what he wants with them, has been great He doesn't show them much interest now that he is not being told 'no, don't touch'.
