My 6 month has had a cold, been to the doctors about it as his breathing was a little too fast but had It checked but all is fine. Anyway since he’s had the cold he’s developed a cough now and he’s been so unsettled at night, he was sleeping through for over a month so it’s hitting me big time with the broken sleep. Any advice would be appreciated.

Raise the top of his matress with books or anything. The mucus doesn't travel down their throats.

If he’s got a cough, I’d hoover his mattress, flooring, your mattress if he’s in your room and curtains/blinds/shutters. Damp dust the room and freeze his cuddly toys to kill dust mites.

Try taking him into the bathroom before bed and leave the hot tap running to make the room steamy too.

And if your DH is home this weekend, get him to do the early shift at least once so that you get a lie in Smile
