At what age did you start potty training?

And when did your dc actually get to a relatively accident-free point? Feeling frustrated that dd will be three in 2 months and still not wanting to use the potty.

With my older children I would try around age 2. If it didn't look like it was working at all then I left it and tried again at age 2y6m. It usually took around 2weeks. With my last toddler I started talking about coming out of nappies but didn't do anything apart from draw attention to the fact of going to the toilet, wearing knickers instead of nappy. At 3y4m she took herself to the toilet and declared she'd finished with nappies. After 2 days she was accident-free. Never used a potty went straight on the toilet.
