Student maternity pay help!

Hi, I am a FT student currently 5+3, I'm so confused with maternity pay/allowance (if I am eligible at all!) I know I won't receive student finance whilst I'm taking a break from studies so what do I do? So stressed and I don't know where to turn x

Are you working part time or have you in the past and made national insurance contributions?

@Gobbolinothewitchscat I've not been working PT as course is full time x

You will not get no maternity pay from student f. Your course and funding will just be suspended ,until you return back into education .
On the other hand ,if you have been working Pt you may be entitled to some form of maternity pay based on service length or hours done.
