Breastfeeding - silicone let down pump

Hi ladies,

I have one of those silicone pumps that collects your let down whilst you breastfeed. I was wondering for those of you who use one, do you keep collecting enough for a bottle and then mix it together in a bottle in the fridge? Sorry if this is a dumb question, my baby is only 2 weeks so I'm new to the world of pumpkin/milk storage. I do also have an electric pump but wasn't planning on using it just yet.

Thanks!

Yes I used to just mix enough together to make a bottle. For me it took several days, but I didn’t express with a proper pump and wasn’t really looking to, so it was just an added bonus.

If you’re not giving your baby a bottle or planning to, then you should freeze your milk. Maybe freeze in 2 or 4oz amounts and label with the date

My baby was mix fed so any additional bm was a bonus that she had instead of formula.
