we're planning to take the sides of my little boy's cot bed, to make into a 'big boy bed' ... i thought a bed rail might be handy to stop him falling out & waking us all up in the night, but most of the ones i've seen online have said 'not suitable for a slatted bed, only a divan bed' :?

anyone know where i can get a bed rail to fit a cot bed?

thanks :O

Where did you buy your cotbed from? Mothercare ones have holes in the side and their wooden bed guard should fit - it did ours despite them not making our model of bed anymore.

Check with the manufacturer to see if they do a fixed one. The trouble of the slatted base is the slats fit into a recess in the bed whereas the divan is completely flat.
