2 month old - jelly poo?

Hey guys.

Since about 7.30am my LO has pooped 7 times! This is not like her at all to poo so much. Its the same colour as it usually is. But its a different consistency. It'd say its more like jelly.

Along with this she's been on the breast 8 times so far. For 10 to 30 minutes. This isn't like her either and she's really fussy. Doesn't seem happy no matter what I do.

She's got a check up on Monday but with all the poo and jellyness to it I'm worried.

My LO is exclusively breastfed and I'm home alone with her today. Should I be worried?

I think its the heat. My LG who is one month old is doing the same. Yellow but mucousy poo- no green/ no blood. If you look at kellysmom pages (my bf bible) it can happen when they feed loads and boobs have upped water content in response to the heat.

If the jelly turns pink or red, and baby seems remotely uncomfortable it could - just could - be bowel intussusception.
Please keep a close eye on her and ring whatever NHS Direct is called these days
