FIRST DAY OF POTTY TRAINING!!

And Ds has just had one accident so far!!

He has been great going on the potty, but he won't sit on it

He holds the potty with one hand and his willy in the other and aims

We are for town tomorrow morning, should I keep him in his panties and just find toilets every 5 minutes, or put a nappy on him again??

He's 2 and 5 months

I wouldn't put a nappy on him, I always figured that would confuse dd. In the very early days I used to take a couple of changes of clothes and take her to the toilet every hour.

Actually, he has had 2 accidents since last post so must wipe the smug smile off my face

Get some trainer pants! They'll contain little accidents long enough to get to a loo but are just like pants as far as the child's concerned.
