I currently use a Bjorn but it's starting to get uncomfortable. I need something that I'll be able to comfortably carry baby in for aound 30 mins at a time and needs to be quick and easy to put on. Any recommendations?

I have a Boba, and love it. Lovely designs and easy clips. Very comfy. The only down side is you can't put them in facing outwards, but my ds (18months) loves. Fits husband nicely too.

Your best bet is top pop a long to your local sling library and give a few a try. All those mentioned are fab but Carriers are a bit like jeans. They all look pretty simlar but just because you like the fit of one brand doesn't mean you'll like another

I love my connecta, super easy to put on and folds up small to carry around in your bag!

You might be better with a backpack style one at 6 months as I find they get too big to see over comfortably and anything which faces out will pull on your back, but on your back they can see over your shoulder so not bored :) Most SSCs you can stick them on your front and then scoot the carrier around, or you just give them a piggyback and do it up around them.

My favourites are Manduca and Boba. Boba is excellent if you want to keep going into the toddler years.

YYY to carriers being like jeans. Absolutely. The width and placement of the shoulder and waist straps are individually comfortable to different shaped people.
