Car seat for baby with reflux

As the title says I'm looking to get a car seat for 9 week old with acid reflux.
Currently has the maxi cosi but just screams in it which is awkward as I have to do the school runs!
Was looking at the joie gemm? Anybody any experience with this seat? Does it recline?

We had the Joie I Gemm, not with a reflux baby though. I'm not sure it's any different to a Maxi Cosi in terms of recline. Could you get her out of the car seat and into a sling whilst you're doing the drop off so she's a bit more upright?

I transfer her to pram but it's very uncomfortable for her on car journeys so just trying to find something suitable!
