Emotional & sensitive toddler

DS is 3 and he's very sensitive and gets frustrated quickly. With that he then lashes out at those around him in anger (when he's asked to do something he doesn't want to do).

For example today he didn't want to tidy up at pre school when asked he shouted at his key worker then lay on the floor having a tantrum, lashing out hitting and kicking her.

Any advice on how to talk to him about his feelings / books that might help him understand why he's feeling that way? He's an astute little boy and DH & I really want to help him manage his emotions better. We've tried talking to him but don't get much of an answer... any tips/ advice welcome.

TIA x
