Cheap ways to cater for kids party?

Looking for hints & tips on cheap ways to cater for a 2 year olds birthday party
Bit tight on the cash front at the mo!
We’ve got 8 toddlers and 24 adults coming for a garden party from 1pm-4pm at ours in two weeks!
Also would you say party bags are a must for the kiddies? I’m thinking a lucky dip with little pressie as they leave might do!

I think the toddler food will be cheap but catering for 24 adults will cost a lot!
Toddlers will be happy with a few sarnies (jam, cheese, ham go down bear here), some chopped veg, crisps and cake. Maybe use the birthday cake as dessert rather than buying more cakes. Birthday cake in party bag never really works imo.
I’d put a teeny present in a bag with a small pack of sweets (think bubbles and choc buttons in a cheaply bag).
Maybe let adult guests know it will just be nibbles and they could eat lunch before they come. Then do crisps, dips, ect. But make sure there are plenty!

Do you have any nectar points saved up? Sainsbury's do sandwich platters which you can spend your points on.

Definitely try Iceland you could quite easily feed 24 adults on £50 from there.

A simple BBQ could work if you stick to things like sausages, kebabs and chicken legs or thighs plus some sides like salads and potatoes or rice.
