Sleeping a lot the day after vaccinations?

Our little one had first jabs yesterday. Went as expected, she was upset but eventually settled in the evening. No fever.

Today though she has pretty much wanted to sleep all day

Posted too early! And has fed less than usual although has had some

She’s been asleep for a couple of hours now which is unheard of in the day for her - not sure if I should wake her up to feed?

I’m sure this is normal but posting for reassurance.. has been horrible seeing her unwell 🙁 wish I could have had the jabs for her

Have noticed she’s also coughed a couple of times (also unusual)

My DS slept most of the day after his jabs. Let sleeping babies lie and just offer a feed when they wake up. Just keep an eye but all appears normal after jabs to me x

My bigger one did. My baby just gets grumpy and I wish she’d sleep a lot instead!!

Parenting rule #1 - never wake a sleeping baby

Yep - mine slept almost the whole day with his first 2 sets of jabs. Barely fed either. It's normal unless they appear dehydrated
