We're going away in June to the canaries. My son will be 7 months then and we have an early morning flight. He has just started weaning. What do I need to bring with us on holiday? Any tips on what to take/pack!! Thanks!!

Is he BF or FF?

Are you TW or BLW?

He's breast fed, and we're doing mixture of weaning with puréed and BLW x

Went on UK holiday with dd 7mo and a few pouches were good when we weren't ready for dinner as early as she's used to.

Light small toys like ribbons or fabric book good for travelling.

Microfibre towels are great - light, small, dry fast and good as rug.

Hat with a tie so can't pull it off

Spare clothes for him - and you!! - for flight just in case of sickness. Lots of wipes, more nappies on the plane than you think you’ll need.

We went on holiday with my DS at the same age. I did traditional weaning so I took a load of pouches with me for his “main meal” of the day as didn’t want to worry about him not liking things etc when we were there. He had toast, fruit, yoghurt etc for breakfast and bits of whatever we had for lunch.

DS was bottle fed so we also had to take all that gumpf but you won’t need that.

I took a couple of days with of nappies for the plane etc but everything else you can buy when you’re out there.
